How to Play Steal a Blob

Getting started

• You start with $100 and a free Puddle Blob.
• Blobs walk along the Blob Road. Hold the button on one to buy it: it walks to your base and earns cash every second.
• Step on the green plate in front of a blob to collect its cash.
• Rarer blobs earn way more: Puddle Blob makes $1/s, Dragon Drip makes $4.3K/s. Keep swapping weak blobs for better ones (see the value list).
• Your base has 8 spots. Every rebirth adds 2 more, up to 32 over three floors. Extra blobs go to your backpack (60 spots) and don't earn until you place them.
• Your blobs keep earning while you're offline: 35% of your income for up to 12 hours.

Get rich fast

• Merge twins: two identical blobs become one ★★ blob that earns x2.5; two ★★ make a ★★★ at x6.
• Play with friends: +10% income for every friend in your server (up to +50%).
• Join the Roblox group: +10% income forever.
• Be there on the hour: the first 5 minutes of every hour are ⚡ Golden Hour (2x CASH for 5 minutes) or 🌧️ Blob Rain (Blobs spawn 3x faster with 1.5x luck).
• Blob Party every Saturday at 16:00 UTC for 1 hour: 3x luck, 3x mutations, 2x cash and 2x spawns.
• Free stuff: codes, the daily reward (day 7 is a free blob: 10% Mythic, 35% Legendary, otherwise Epic), a free spin every 6 hours, and daily and weekly quests.
• Upgrade your base: Golden Pedestals gives +3% income for all your blobs per level.
• Fill your Index: finding every blob of a rarity gives +10% income forever.
• Rebirth when you can afford it: +50% income forever, every time (below).

Protect your base

• Press LOCK BASE to close your base for 60 seconds. Do it before you walk away. Locked bases can't be entered.
• Make the lock last longer: +5 s per rebirth (up to +60 s); Steel Doors in the Rebirth shop (+15s base lock per level); Reinforced Lock base upgrade (+3 s base lock per level); the Long Lock pass (90 s).
• When you join a server, your base is locked for 90 seconds.
• When the alarm goes off, tap 🧤 SLAP on the alarm card and chase the red arrow. Slap the thief: they drop your blob and it flies back home. Far away? Tap 🏠 GO HOME.
• Steal Guard (gems): thieves need 5% longer to steal your blobs per level.
• The richest player in the server has a bounty: more income, but everyone wants to rob you.

Stealing

• Walk into someone's base, hold the prompt on a blob and run it back to your base.
• Holding the prompt takes longer for rarer blobs: 1.5 s for Common up to 8 s for Divine. Every blob page lists its steal time.
• You walk slower while carrying a blob (speed 12.5 instead of 16; the Fast Carry pass keeps you at 16). If someone slaps you, you drop it and it flies home.
• If you don't get it home within 2 minutes, it goes back.
• After a steal you're WANTED: anyone who slaps you gets a bounty.
• Got robbed? Steal back from the thief within 5 minutes for a REVENGE bonus.
• Quiet server? With 3 players or fewer, Blob Bandits set up bases you can rob (up to 12 steals a day).

Merging

• Put two identical blobs on your base (same blob, mutation and stars) and hold MERGE on one of them.
• ★★ earns and is worth x2.5, ★★★ x6. Stars stack with mutations: a Galaxy ★★★ blob is worth x150.
• Base full? Extra blobs go to your backpack. Sell (you get 50% of the value back) or merge to make room.

Rebirths

• A rebirth resets your cash and blobs but gives +50% income forever, 2 more base spots and tokens for the Rebirth shop: Golden Touch (+10% income per level), Steel Doors (+15s base lock per level), Night Shift (+10% offline earnings per level), Lucky Hands (Free spin 1 hour sooner per level).
• Exclusive blobs come with you through a rebirth. You can rebirth up to 25 times.
• Rebirths unlock rarer blobs (Celestial at rebirth 1, Galactic at rebirth 3), the sky islands: Sky Island (Rebirth 2+), Rainbow Isle (Rebirth 4+), Galaxy Isle (Rebirth 7+), and the worlds below.

Eggs and mutations

• Eggs at the lobby egg stall and in every world hatch random blobs; each egg shows its odds. The Lucky Meter guarantees the egg's top prize after enough hatches. All odds: eggs.
• Blobs from the road and from eggs can roll a mutation that multiplies income and value, from Silver (x1.25) to Galaxy (x25, 1 in 500). See every mutation and its real odds.

Events

• Every 15 minutes a random server event runs for 3 minutes: Blob Frenzy (Blobs spawn twice as fast), Lucky Rush (2x luck for rare blobs), Mutation Storm (3x mutation chance), Spooky Night (LIMITED Halloween blobs on the road + extra SHADOW mutations).
• The first 5 minutes of every hour: ⚡ Golden Hour (2x CASH for 5 minutes) or 🌧️ Blob Rain (Blobs spawn 3x faster with 1.5x luck).
• Blob Party every Saturday at 16:00 UTC: the biggest boosts of the week, and a rare blob drops on the road every 5 minutes.
• Blob Friday: a brand new blob every Friday (see updates). Seasons bring LIMITED blobs that never come back.

Worlds and bosses

• Open WORLDS to travel. Each world has its own egg with world-only blobs and a boss. Unlock one with a level, rebirths and a one-time fee:

• Slap the boss together: everyone who really helps gets the full reward (cash and 💎 gems), and the boss can drop its own rare blob.
• When a warning on the ground fills up, the hit lands: jump slams and step out of the circles. Gems buy stronger slaps, which hit bosses harder.

Trading

• Open TRADE and pick a player: up to 4 blobs per side, and both sides must press READY.
• From level 8 you can visit the Trading Plaza to find more traders and claim a booth.
• Check a trade before you press READY with the trade calculator: trades can't be undone.
• Never trade Robux, accounts or items outside the game. That's how scams work.
